Trend prediction for Fall/Winter 2008: melancholy colors! The full wardrobe of color but in undertone tints. Black will dominate with white (alabaster), grey and silver colors. The light and dark shades of the grey to a charcoal color are still in the fashion shows! Models draped in soft knit wears, luxury silk and cozy wool exhibited many variations of grey colors. Also veiled violet tones go ahead in this season, modern is hyacinth, lacquer red and dark blue as well.

Simplicity and ornamentation will be fashionable for this Fall/Winter. The rule is simplicity or fashion with original elements. Primary is femininity: boots, tight high socks or stockings, low necklines, slim trousers, vests and shorts, double breasted buttons for jackets and coats (French style) and knits. Procure yourself with oversized knit, long coat or sexy tight dress or at least a striking scarf around your neck or shoulders. In intense cool shades to team with uniform chic or jeans wear. One distinctive look will give you a pencil skirt topped of with a high-gloss shirt or top.

Stylish simplicity can be full of classic polka dots or stripes. In an ornamental, feminine spirit, light fluid fabrics like chiffon, lace, tulle and crepe in solids, prints or ornamented make fashion more relaxed. The femininity and gentleness can be raised with the use of bows even in a combination of square designs (for the bow silk or chiffon scarves can be used). Satin bows or ties are attached to the placket, loose at the neck or falling from a peter pan collar.

Among the square patterns will be animal motives especially beast patterns are on the come back. Fur around the neck will become again at least for the oncoming winter, a symbol of luxury. For vintage patterns there will still be plant or floral motives. For a vamp look complete your evening dress with an airy scarf from chiffon or silk.

 As it seems the  fashion for Fall/Winter 2008 may be a little bit tedious don’t give up, try a black-white combination with grey ornamentation or a grey top. Also simple pieces trimmed with the right scarf or square will look great if you want to look elegant. Important accessories for this winter are also hats or cap with peak and gloves, long, mid-length or short; leather, suede or wool, plain or studded, feathered or furred, fingerless or full. And don’t forget an extravagant bag!!!
